RE: running speaker wire
I was thinking of doing the same thing (making holes in the side of the trailer)until I found a set of wireless speakers. They're great! I can move the speakers to where I want them and can keep the volume down so I don't bother the neighbors (as much, anyway) Best of all, I can take them inside, out of the elements when we're done or use them at home on the deck / patio.
RE: Portable Waste Tank - Opinions?
We have a 22 gallon tote that works well now that we swapped out the hard plastic wheels for soft rubber (inflated) tires. I found the tank much easier to lift and super easy (comparably) to move around with the new tires on it. Much quieter getting it to the dump station, too. (the mod cost about $15, $5 for each tire and a few for the miscellaneous hardware to make it work.)
RE: low point drains ..how to drain?
Our 2000 Jayco has the T valves. We have to open access covers (one in the bedroom wall and another in the "wall" outside the tub) to get to the handles. Pull up on the T and you'll feel a snap and hear the water draining. When done, don't forget to close the valves (push them back down) before you start the next cycle of using water.
